Hind Haidar began her hairdressing career in the late 1990s in Hollywood, California and then in NYC where she worked in celebrity salons and did freelance editorial hairstyling. She specializes in precision haircutting and razor cutting and natural looking, lived in hair color, gray transitions as well as custom hair extensions. When Hind opened the Cutting Room she knew she wanted to create something different than what she had experienced in her years in the beauty industry.

Her commitment to sustainability and creating a low-toxin environment within her salon is a testament to her dedication to her clients and stylists’ well-being and the well-being of the planet. She also realized that toxicity was not only in the products being used but in the culture of the industry. Practices such as gendered pricing, retail benchmarks, double and triple booking, and relying on tips for income were causing harm to stylists and clients alike.

She wanted to create a space where stylists could focus on growing in their craft and have work-life balance, and where clients could receive a truly customized and affirming experience.

We are excited to have Cheyenne join The Cutting Room team! Cheyenne has been in the beauty industry for 5 years. She specializes in lived in color, blonding, and vivids/fashion colors! She also offers cuts and styling services. When she’s not working behind the chair, Cheyenne loves going to cheer on the Colorado Avalanche and going to shows at Red Rocks! She will be working at The Cutting Room Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Meet Breigh, a dedicated cosmetologist with 14 years of experience and a deep love for the beauty industry. As a licensed educator, she is committed to sharing her expertise with others. Breigh specializes in corrective hair color and cuts, textured hair services, including braiding and scalp treatments, and advocates for a holistic approach to hair care. Outside the salon, she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, martial arts, and indulging in a good book.

Heather is from Colorado and grew up in Broomfield. She has always wanted to do hair and loves the daily reward that comes from making a positive difference in someone’s life. She believes in empowering and supporting the people around her and her personal philosophy behind the chair is just to be kind to everyone. No matter the situation, kindness can completely change someone's day.

She loves precision cutting, blonding, lived-in color, barbered cuts, and making her chair a place where you can relax and rejuvenate.

She attended Redken Symposium the summer of 2023 and spent 3 days learning from some of the top stylists in the industry. She always looks to take continuing education classes to stay up-to-date with the latest styles and trends.

Outside of the salon Heather is an avid reader and loves drag racing at Bandimere, camping, and spending time with her significant other and children.

Kimberly has been honing her skills as a hairstylist for 8 years and strives to provide the best salon experience for her clients. She studied art history in college and is an Aveda Institute Denver alumni. Hairstyling caters to her long standing interest in beauty, fashion, and art. She’s styled for local publications and Denver Fashion Week shows. Kimberly has worked alongside some of the best in the industry and has invested time into further perfecting her craft with advanced blonding and cutting education courses. She specializes in lived-in colors, fashion colors and color corrections. When not in the salon, you can find her reading, gardening, spending time with her kids and husband, or creating something- whether it be food, crafts, or art. She’s got a great sense of humor (what can’t laughter solve?), loves the beach and anything mid-century modern. She can’t wait to have you in her chair!

We are thrilled to welcome Anthony to the Cutting Room team! Anthony has over 15 years of experience behind the chair, but a lifetime in the industry since his mother was a hairstylist and salon owner. He moved to Colorado recently from San Francisco, California. Anthony specializes in precision haircuts, textured razor cuts, and barbering techniques for all textures. His Vidal Sassoon training ensures that he has the technical skills to execute the creative cuts he loves to do.

He has done hair onstage as a platform artist. He also enjoys doing color, like lived in blonding, redheads and gray blending and coloring. When he’s not at the salon you may find him playing drums with his band.

Meet Kelsey, a vibrant hairstylist known for her bold use of color and innovative texture cuts. With a passion for creativity that extends beyond the salon, Kelsey finds inspiration in traveling, attending art shows, as well as creating her own pieces and experiencing live theater. When not perfecting her craft, Kelsey enjoys spoiling her two dogs, reading, and spending time with family and friends . Whether crafting a stunning new look or exploring the latest artistic trends, Kelsey brings a unique flair and boundless enthusiasm to everything she does.

Serena is a newly licensed cosmetologist who is passionate about all things beauty related. Her favorite haircuts are razor cuts, pixie cuts, shags, and mullets. She started out in cosmetics 13 years ago and continues to stay motivated by trying out new techniques and products. Her ultimate goal is to make you look good and feel even better! During her off time she helps lead an Aztec dance group, crafts, reads, and listens to true crime podcasts.

Breezy has spent the past five years honing her skills as a barber, specializing in precision cuts, tight fades, facial hair grooming, and vibrant color applications. Her favorite aspect of this industry is developing rapport with clients, which aligns with her personal drive to connect with others. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, learning, exploring philosophical concepts, and relaxing at home, where she tends to her garden, reads, or journals. She is eager to continue serving clients and advancing her expertise.

Christopher is a skilled and experienced hair professional with six years in the industry. As a licensed barber and cosmetologist, he has a passion for cutting and styling hair, specializing in bobs, pixies, shags, and other creative haircuts. Christopher also loves doing men’s haircuts, bringing the same level of precision and creativity to every style. While his main focus is on precision cuts and innovative styles, he offers a full range of color services to complement his clients' looks. Now relocating from New York City to Colorado, Christopher is excited to bring his dedication to the craft and keen eye for detail to a new community, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and refreshed.
